Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Click & Clique (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services (the “App”).
1. Who we are
Click & Clique helps people discover events in their city, join Ticketmaster and community events, match with other attendees, chat, and leave reviews. For privacy questions, contact support@clickandclique.com.
2. Information we collect
Account & profile
- Email address and authentication credentials (via Firebase Authentication)
- Username, country, state/city, time zone, birth date, gender, language
- Optional profile photo (Firebase Storage)
- Interests and app preferences (e.g. notifications, location toggle)
Activity in the App
- Events you join, host, or leave (Ticketmaster and community events)
- Match invitations and their status (pending, accepted, declined, cancelled)
- Chat messages (1:1 and community group chats)
- Reviews and ratings you give or receive
- Device tokens used to deliver push notifications
Technical & local data
- Online / last-seen style presence used for chat status
- On-device caches (for example day caches for past events) to reduce network use
- City event catalogs and attractions may be cached from our CDN; these are not your personal profile
3. How we use information
- Provide core features: profiles, events, matching, chat, reviews
- Keep the product safe and fair (including abuse and spam prevention)
- Send transactional notifications you enable (invites, messages, event updates)
- Improve reliability and performance (caching, badges, cleanup jobs)
- Comply with law and respond to valid requests
4. Where data is stored
We use Google Firebase services, including Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging. Data may be processed in regions configured for the project (including European regions used by our Realtime Database / Functions setup).
5. Sharing
Other users can see information you choose to make visible in context — for example your username and photo on participant lists, invitation details shared with the other party, chat messages with your match or group, and reviews associated with events.
We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers (such as Google Firebase) that process data on our behalf to run the App.
6. Retention
We keep account and activity data while your account is active. Some operational records (for example past event archives used inside the App) may be retained to provide history features. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data as described below, except limited signals needed for abuse prevention or where law requires retention.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the App: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You can also request deletion on the web: Delete account page.
When deletion completes, we remove or anonymize personal data such as:
- Your profile, photo, username reservation, devices, and auth account
- Your chat content and personal archives tied to your user ID
- Active participations and invitations involving you
Names shown to others in historical contexts may be replaced with a non-identifying label (for example “Deleted User”).
Important: If you delete your account while you still have obligations the App normally blocks leaving (for example hosting an active community event with participants, or matches / joined community events within 24 hours of start), the App may apply system rating penalties disclosed in the confirmation screens before deletion. A limited non-identifying reputation signal keyed to a hash of your email may be retained so the same email cannot reset ratings by re-registering.
8. Your choices
- Update city, language, and profile details in Settings / Profile
- Control notification and location preferences in Settings
- Leave events or cancel matches when App rules allow (including the 24-hour limits)
- Delete your account as described above
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing without parental approval. Do not create an account if you do not meet the applicable age requirement.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
